Spring is arriving at Zoo de Bordeaux Pessac, bringing a programme full of discoveries, creative workshops and family moments. Throughout April, visitors of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity, raise awareness about nature and create lasting memories.
Creative workshops to celebrate spring
On April 6th and 8th, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, join our “Make your own flower crown” workshop and create your own paper flower crown in a friendly and colourful atmosphere.
Reading at the Zoo: stories in the heart of the savannah
On April 7th and 14th, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, enjoy immersive storytelling sessions in front of the savannah animals, in partnership with local libraries.
A giant insect hotel for World Art Day
On April 15th, children can help build a giant insect hotel. Limited to 20 participants. Registration: pedago@zoo-bordeaux-pessac.com
This month’s birthdays
April 1st: Lemur Maze anniversary with enrichment activities throughout the day.
April 4th: Tupi the tapir’s birthday with enrichment activities for Tupi and Toto.
Free face painting workshops
On April 6th, 11th, 18th and 19th, free face painting workshops will be available throughout the day.
Red panda weekend
On April 25th and 26th, the zoo highlights the red panda in partnership with CPPR – Connaître et Protéger le Panda Roux.
Activities, awareness sessions and a meeting with Jean-Jacques Fresko, author of “Roux comme un panda”.
Charity products and donations from the snack bar will support the association.
